Join us in Phoenix as we gather and celebrate through a preaching slam and educational event with food and drink!

Across the globe, Catholics are actively discerning about women’s access to diaconal ministry—and your voice matters.  This is an educational event meant to serve as a foundation for informed discernment; all voices are welcome.

Where does Pope Leo stand on women’s leadership? What has the Vatican recently shared about the path forward for women? How can ordinary Catholics participate in shaping this synodal chapter of our Church?

Enjoy great preaching!  Before our discussion, we will host a preaching slam to celebrate the many voices of discipleship in our community and the people who are preaching the Good News through their life’s work. We will ask, through witness and Scripture, “What does it mean to be called to serve?”

Join us to listen to some awesome lay preaching and for a lively, hope-filled, and interactive conversation about women deacons in the universal Church.
